Pastor Wintley A. Phipps set the tone for the ordination service with a pre-ordination concert. He directed our hearts and minds heavenward as he ministered in song.
Elder Dennis Ross, Jr., Ministerial and Evangelism Director for the Southern Union Conference counseled, challenged, and inspired the ordinands and campers from God’s word about the practical realities of ministry in today’s church with the message "Without a Preacher."
Pastors Greene, Herrera, and Williams were ordained. Their wives were recognized and charged by First Lady, Dr. Janice Browne who eloquently spoke the charge in Spanish for Maria Herrera.
President Benjamin P. Browne commissioned the newly ordained pastors and their spouses to shake the hands of former South Central President, Charles E. Dudley and First Lady, Etta Dudley. It was the alpha of ministry embracing the wisdom of ministry.

From that point, he experienced a strong sense of peace as he pursued a degree in Theology.
After graduating from Oakwood, Pastor Williams received a call to serve in South Central. He completed a Master’s in Theology at Andrews Seminary. His pastoral career started in the Radcliff and Campbellsville District, KY.
