Each session begins at 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. each Sunday of our camping season and the first meal is supper that day. If you bring your child to camp, we ask that you do not arrive before 1:00 pm so we may have an opportunity to see off our previous week's campers and prepare for your campers arrival.

EXPRESS REGISTRATION:
To avoid long lines on registration day, we have hassle-free Express Registration.
To qualify, simply do the following:
1. Complete your camp application and medical consent form which is found above.
2. Mail application, all requested information and full payment at least two weeks prior to camper's arrival.
3. An Express Pass will be mailed with your receipt.
4. Bring express Pass with you to camp.
5. Camper id directed to counselor and cabin.

GENERAL INFORMATION
FINANCES - The basic camp fee is $285.00 which includes food, program, camper insurance, water bottle, lodging, and 24 hour camper care. The friendship camper (non constituent) fee is $150.00. There is an additional fee of $8.00 for horseback riding and $5.00 for the Tennessee Aquarium. A non refundable deposit of $50.00 is all that is required to reserve a place for your child's summer experience. The balance of the camp fee is due upon registration at camp. Payments in full at least two weeks prior to camp entitles you to the benefits of EXPRESS registration. Any refunds due will be processed after August 30th. Camp Thunderbird does not receive personnel checks.

Earlybird Special -$235.00 each camper fee is registered by May 31st with a $50.00 deposit.

Visitors - Are Welcome Sundays 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 pm during registration. Visits during the week, except Saturdays, can be scheduled through the Camp Director. Lunch is not available on Sundays except for extended campers and staff.

Telephone Calls - Campers have access to pay telephones and may call home collect if necessary. The camp business phone number is (423) 892-2129

Laundry Service - Is available, if desired, for extended campers for a fee of $5.00 per week. All clothing must be plainly marked with name of camper to qualify for laundry service.

Lost and Found Items - Will be available for you to pick up, or mailed to you COD, if requested. Unidentified items and unclaimed items will be given to a charity after 3 weeks. Parents please label all clothing items.


CAMP STORE
The camp store is stocked with an assortment of colorful t-shirts and other miscellaneous items. Campers are advised to deposit money in the camp bank. At departure, purchases will be subtracted and remaining money returned upon singing out.
