Greetings!
The South Central Conference Women's Ministries Outreach Program, "In His Steps," invites you and the women of your church/workplace/community to join us in assisting a very worthy enterprise: Helping our single parents in their educational pursuits. The New Beginnings Single Parent Program is sponsored by Oakwood University. The mission – to assist single parents (both male and female) -- vision and core values are ones we embrace and want to support.
VISION STATEMENT: The New Beginnings Single Parent Program is designed to help families with multi-dimensional problems, to provide an opportunity for single parents and their children to break the cycle of poverty through education, awareness, support, and to become self-sufficient.
CORE VALUES:
*        An atmosphere of open communication where there is honesty, integrity, and mutual respect.
*        An environment that recognizes and promotes accountability, as strong work ethic and quality.
*        Teaching and learning as our most important mandate.
Please join us in providing any one or more of the following item:
Leap Frog Learning toys, and other Leap Frog Lessons, Batteries for Learning toys Learning videos, Veggie Tales’ DVD/VHS tape; Blank-DVD disc, CD-RW disc, CD-R disc; Flash drive, Camera, High chair (used or new), Pampers, Sippy cups, Coloring books, Construction paper, Crayons, Markers, Pens, Pencils, Ream of typing paper, Notepads, Safety scissors, Blankets, School boxes, Kleenex tissues, Paper Towels, Hand sanitizer, Clorox Wipes, Lysol Wipes, Baby wipes, and/or Lysol disinfectant spray.
Bring them with you to "Saturday Night at the Movies" which will be held the first Saturday night of SCC Camp Meeting, June 6, in Wade Hall Chapel from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
 
Thank you in advance for your generosity. This will give the parent center a jump start for the Fall semester. Those of you on campus who wish to contribute may bring your contributions to the Records Office.
