My Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ:

Greetings! Mrs. Edmond and I wish to welcome and sincerely thank you for giving your time and resources to attend Church Officers Convention, 2010. Your dedication and support is not taken for granted.

Our theme is “Lo, He Comes!” With all the chaos and drama that surrounds our world today, it is easy to get distracted and forget that the Seventh-day Adventist Church exists to tell people:

Lo, He Comes! Yes, Jesus Comes!
Lo, He Comes All Glorious
Jesus Comes, to Reign Victorious
Lo, He Comes! Yes, Jesus Comes!

A very special welcome to our special guests, former President, Elder Benjamin P. Browne
and former First Lady, Dr. Janice Browne. Each Sabbath evening, at our three venues, we
shall assemble and pay tribute to them for their service to our church and this Conference.
I especially want to extend my deepest gratitude for the positive impact they had on my life.

2010 brings us one year closer to His coming than last year. I hope and pray that we are more prepared; and that our coming together this year preps us to be more enthusiastic about His arrival.

Again-thank you and please do not allow a single day to pass without praying for my family
and for me.
