Doing a Media Ministry
Survey and Plan for Your Church

Every church has to face the task of making technology decisions to enhance its media ministry. This Media Ministry Survey and Plan Worksheet are designed to assist you in walking through the assessment and planning process. It has two major benefits.

It is mission directed. – This worksheet helps you look at the mission of your church and each of its departments to determine your media needs. This approach enables you to see the media needs in the context of your mission your resultant plan is mission driven.

It is wholistic. – Because this worksheet has you look at the media needs of all areas of your church and its ministry it enables you to develop a wholistic or integrated media ministry that allows every one to have their media needs understood and met. This worksheet was developed using Brent Harshbarger’s article, “Developing a Technology Plan”, as a guide so you may want to read it before doing this worksheet.
